Time since last post : 2 years

Finally after a very very long time, the train of this thought(of pissing on my blog) reached my brain station.
The last time that I blogged, I was all excited about my new job as I was transitioning from the collegiate life to corporate life and was eagerly waiting for my first salary.
After which I disappeared :P
(Things that happened while I was away: Got a transfer to Hyderabad, got married, settled in a new house close to work place.)
Now I am again excited about my new job, but this time not in a fresher's state of mind, joining Oracle after having spent 3 long years at Verizon.

All excited........

Distrust is the only defence against betrayal

The title speaks it all!!!People who are betrayed will find this title so apt.

Don't always have high expectations , having low expectations might make you feel less betrayed.

Toodles!!!!

Bizarre!!!!!!!

Ever started a conversation with strangers who you detest at the very first sight???????

Strange happenings in the recent past.....oh my God.
Things look totally different to me,here at Chennai.I always find myself running into these middle aged or old chaps at bus stops, who start up a conversation which im least interested in.It never happened to me ever before, but i now regularly get trapped in these vicious nets(Nets that extract your personal information).

Why the hell do they converse???Intentions...good or bad?????

INSTANCE 1: On my way back home(after a get together with friends) an old man started up a conversation. He said I looked like his daughter and the very next moment he started asking me where I work, how much I earn, what my parents do,how much they earn and stuff. WHAT THE HECK!!!!!

INSTANCE 2: While commuting to office,a middle aged man,(bizarre looking man) caught me at the bus stop.He started off by asking where I work and how much I earn.WHAT FUN DO THEY DERIVE OUT OF IT MAN?????? The funniest part was he went to the extent of asking me what fruits & vegetables I love.He himself concluded I love grapes. He kept boring me so much asking the colour of grapes I like. Constantly he kept looking at my purse which made me even cautious. And when I said that I had to leave,he was like "Why has your bus come so early". WHAT CRAP?????

INSTANCE 3: This was even more funny.I ran into a drunkard....I rather put it this way: a drunkard ran into me this morning.A dark stout man with bulging red eyes.SCARY??? Even he asked me the same old question(occupation&salary) and then he told me he recruits people with software background. A DRUNKARD HR???? In fact he looked like a road side romeo. He insisted on shaking my hand with his and started giving a brief lecture on how people of my zodiac sign behave.I looked like a malaysian to him.God..............To escape from his trap I boarded a bus which doesnt go to my place. lol. This irritating fellow pats my back when I leave.......WHAT THE HELL!!!!!!!!!!!

crazy nuts.........

PEOPLE BE CAREFUL.........DONT EVER GET MESMERIZED BY THE WAY THESE STRANGERS SPEAK,IT IS A TRAP TO CHEAT YOU.

Gossip in public places.......

Few things are definitely unique about India.........the food, the lifestyle, tradition etc etc etc.......not to forget the CROWD. Ohh ya, the crowd in public places.

The other day when I was travelling by bus(on my way to office),I was very much engrossed in listening to a conversation(a conversation whose participants were total strangers). My routine monotonous travelling hours turned out to be a little entertaining that day.

There was a seat just enough to accommodate a lady. This lady(around 50 yrs of age) without whom the entire conversation wouldn't have started, kept calling her elder sister to sit with people around asking her not to create a disturbance in the crowded bus.It was out of so called AFFECTION(affection of the people not of this generation).A debate almost started on how family members of this generation interact and show affection.Three rows of the ladies section and few ladies who were standing participated in the debate.

CONCLUSIONS OF THIS DEBATE:-
1) People of the previous generation were very affectionate and caring(I mean only daughters to parents, parents to children, sister to sister and sister to brother relationships, not brother to sister relationship).
2)People of this generation are least concerned about parents or siblings, even if found concerned,it is applicable to ladies.(Guys are stone hearted-A blackmark due to the guys who are so).
3)Joint family helps in improving the bond among members of the family.
4) When a guy gets married,he surrenders himself to his wife leaving behind the parents.

I do agree with a few points.Quite pragmatic..............but cannot accept it as a universal truth though it happens in most of the families.
May be time and the situation doesn't permit us to live the way our ancestors did.

Whatever it is,I was entertained listening to the way each one perceives things.

And not to forget my first sentence,I said there is something unique about India as the concept of AFFECTION is rarely found in other countries(No gossip in public places as the one I witnessed). The mechanical life they lead ruins it all.
