My dream no more a pipe dream :)
Hurray...................finally I could witness all the lost colors of my life.
One of my posts says that I'm wrapped in ennui........Now I've experienced something to prove it wrong. So all you people reading this post, dont ever refer to that post.I'm in no mood to delete it because I wrote it out of frustration in this geeky world.............
Our north tour was a major hit!!!!!!!!!!!!Rocked like never on this earth........
Gang of 32..............
First Ill start of with the places we visited, here it goes.....
1)Agra
2)Delhi
3)Shimla
4)Kullu
5)Manali
6)Chandigarh
7)back to Delhi
OUR SCHEDULE:
(Starting from 29th)
DAY 1:

We had to board a train to Warangal because we dint get the direct train.Local train to Warangal----13PM.
Reached Warangal at 16PM.Time pass till 18PM in the waiting hall(munching, charging our cell phones, playing tambola, staring at people etc etc)
Boarded the Andaman Express at 18PM.
Full masti from then on..............
Gamboled(played tambola, cards) in the train like big morons.
Night out on 29th...........
DAY 2:
The day slowly started getting gloomly,we were really tired looking at the same boring faces, sitting at the same place and being sedentary.Had no other option though,so started digging each others bags for chocolates and snacks.Buying what ever we could in the train was part of this day's schedule.
Finally the clock ticked at 18.30 PM........Thats when we reached Agra.
The travel bus was ready outside,we boarded it and left for the hotel.
It was an awesome hotel.Refreshed ourselves as much as we could, had dinner at a close by place and then dozed offfffffffff.zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz................
DAY 3:
It was a very foggy day.............
Left the room early in the morning at 7 AM.The first we saw was Agra fort. The guide was busy chanting the history of the fort. Our ears automatically shut down(which is no wonder, daily practice at college) and our eyes fixed at locations for the photographs.Took loads of pictures there.

Then we had a little shopping to do at a government outlet.
Now the fog slowly started disappearing..........We were all set to admire the beauty of Taj Mahal.
It is an exotic place to be at!!!!!!!!!!!!Such an enormous and marvelous structure............Running out of words to describe it.Its simply preternatural............After taking tons of pictures there,we left for Fathepur Sikri.

The guide again kept telling something, as of now I dont remember anything. We again took many pictures there.hahahaa.............

After visiting these 3 historic places we left for the room.
DAY 4:
We spent the entire day traveling to Delhi, stopping at places to hog.
We reached Delhi at 18PM I guess. The first we saw was the Lotus temple......such a placid enclosure to meditate. We then visited Aksharadham---lovely structure it was, mind blowing sculpture........

Was very happy to rest at the hotel because I found many South Indian restaurants around(was fed up with roti & paneer).Had dinner at one such place and then dozed offf...............
DAY 5:
The morning was not as cold as we expected,it was fine & pleasant.First we visited Birla temple. We then passed through Rashtrapathi road, the bus driver gave us 15 minutes there, again as usual we rolled our legs along to take a pile of pictures. Then what happened was our best part in Delhi.........we went to AP Bhavan to have hearty meals(that is the land owned by the AP government). That was the only place we could find the maximum south Indian faces.

All gals were now set for their most awaiting hour....................all guys fed up with us............
TIME 18PM:
Yup its the shopping hour.We shopped like crazy nuts, buying whatever we could. All of us were found with many shopping cartons.I was undoubtedly cursing our schedule because I spent most of the time searching for the places to buy what I wanted to.
Only 2 hours of shopping.............
TIME 20 PM:
All the dispersed classmates assembled at Rajghat. We had to take the bus from there to Shimla.
I saw the first phase of hell that night.(ill come to the second phase later :))
We were all in our usual clothes, not really prepared for the cold. All the luggages were behind in the bus(it was locked). That night we dint sleep as we were supposed to celebrate the birthday of two of our friends(one of them being my close friend). At 12.30 AM we stopped at a Dhaba to cut cake(at that time we were on the Haryana highways).Cake was cut and served with shivering hands...........
Took pictures again as it was a memorable birthday for them.
I was awake the entire night.
DAY 6:
I suddenly found myself fast asleep at 4 in the morning, woke up at 6 and found the bus in the ghat section,That was a lovely cold drive along the ghat sections of Shimla. Finally reached the hotel at 9AM.

It was a mind blowing hotel with facilities available 24*7.............
We were so tired that we could not come out soon, took our own time to refresh ourselves.
At 2PM we left for Kurfi mountain. It was an awesome experience climbing the mountain sitting on the horse just hoping it will not skid on the steep sides. After all they were trained horses...................

We reached the peak, there was nothing much there to see,but ya........we could see the Great wall of China,Kailash Kher, etc etc.
It was bitterly cold, temperature dropping fast with every clock tick.............our body fully covered, only eyes eagerly protruding out of the thick woolen scarfs to admire the nature. We were cursing the nature which was at its best, unable to bear the cold, something then caught our quivering eyes........something very soothing......we found an old man preparing tea, coffee and hot noodles on that peak. This was the biggest relief for the day, literally seemed like some miracle wrought in our lives
I walked myself down to the bus as fast as I could roll my feet down the rocky and muddy hill in order to keep my body warm(preferred walking to riding on a horse). The bright blue sky started getting dark, with the sun disappearing as fast as it could.I could finally reach the bus safely. The bus started in few minutes from then, made our way to the hotel, thought we could burke the cold.No solution found......... :( We were unable to speak to each other, found it difficult to bring out words from our shivering lips.We ordered some soup to fill our empty stomachs in the night......Sipping the hot soup, muffled us against the cold to a certain extent.
Slept off with the heaters on...........
Day 7:
The entire morning was lost in journey.....journey through the dense ghat sections of Shimla.Afternoon time was the highlight of the journey, purely divine...........thats nature. An elongated lowland between ranges of mountains and uplands, river Byas running along the bottom, with cascade from the nearby mountains pouring into it,the little pebbles under the crystal clear water looking too smooth under the bright sun........it was really sublime........Im just running out of words to express the scenes I witnessed. We then passed through a very big tunnel nearly for 5 minutes I guess, all of us were found shouting at the top of our voices,it was an awesome time we had in the bus.At 7PM we reached the Kullu village where we shopped at a woolen factory for winter clothes and back to the bus.

It was somewhere at 10PM when we reached Manali, the place we had to halt for the night. The receptionist was so badly drunk that he was'nt able to understand what we spoke,we somehow managed to get the room keys.It was bitterly cold, the kind of cold I'd never ever felt,we were so unfortunate as the heaters were not working(My second phase of hell).Temperature was -2 degrees. We were so dirty because of the bus journey,I opened the tap just to find my hands numb for 3 minutes(water was freezing cold). We once again cursed the place just for the temperature, many of us phoned to our parents expressing and discussing the adventurous tour.
The cook and other assistants were fast asleep after having a hearty drink. We were badly hungry, luckily our guy friends took all our orders and woke up the cook and helped him to cook up some food for us.Our craving stomachs were served at 12 in the night(ordered at 10PM),the same old roti and dal tasted like ambrosia.
We then covered our already heavily wrapped bodies with four blankets, only to find ourselves still shivering..........helpless we were.
Day 8:
As the day started creeping in,the temperature started increasing,to an extent we thought was bearable.
At 9 AM we partially checked out from the hotel and left for the snowy mountains.Snow was something I touched for the first time in my life,we had a hearty snow fight and took as many photos as we could. At about two in the afternoon we checked out completely and made our way to the most thrilling and adventurous river rafting,it was a great experience getting wet.I was totally wet,wet to the core......no halt anywhere,it was only journey from then on.At 12 AM we halted at a place for dinner, thats when I tried drying my pant by sauntering here and there.

Dint sleep at all the whole night in the bus.
Day 9:
We reached Chandigarh at 9 in the morning. It was a big relief moving away from the extreme cold to a moderately cold place. The hotel we checked in was quite ok,had a bath finally!!!!!!!!! Had our breakfast and left for site seeing. We went to a park where we went on a boat ride, after which we went to the rock garden. There was nothing much to see in Chandigarh, but we took 'n' no of pictures.Roads were fantastic there.
Then did some shopping and went to the room.Had a good night sleep and woke up early in the morning to go to Delhi.

Day 10:
Delhi was only 4 hours away from Chandigarh. We again had a gala time in the bus, reached Delhi at 2 in the afternoon, had lunch at our favorite AP Bhavan and saved enough time for shopping. All we did on this day was visiting ISKON temple and shopping.
Our tour ended here................................We were at the Nizamuddin station at 9 PM,the train to Hyderabad was supposed to arrive at 10:45PM.We waited patiently for the train and boarded it when it arrived.
Slept off..............
Day 11:
Spent the entire 30 hours(of train journey)playing, eating, laughing and sleeping. It was a tiresome journey. We were all counting down the time left to meet our loved ones(parents),planning how to bore them with our experiences. :P
Day 12:
At sharp 5 AM the Dakshin express was in Secunderabad station.I reached home at 6AM.
ALL THANKS TO THE ORGANIZERS.................
